Description

The Moxa NPort 6250 is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 secure serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network through a single 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 port. It supports secure operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server and Client, Secure Pair Connection, SSH and Reverse SSH, so serial data can be encrypted with SSL/SSH when it crosses the network. This standard-temperature model operates from 0 to 55 C and ships with a power adapter.

Two DB9 male serial ports support baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, including non-standard baudrates. A metal housing, built-in watchdog timer, buzzer and RTC suit industrial and commercial installations, while an SD slot supports cards up to 32 GB. Management is available through a web console, Telnet/SSH, SNMP and Moxa utilities, with Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS.
