Description

The Moxa NPort 6150 is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 secure device server that connects serial equipment to a 10/100 Ethernet network. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 55°C on a 12 to 48 VDC input and ships with a power adapter, making it suited to indoor industrial, building automation and equipment monitoring deployments. Secure operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server, Secure TCP Client, Secure Pair Connection, SSH and Reverse SSH protect serial-over-IP traffic.

A software-selectable DB9 male port supports RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 at baud rates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, including non-standard rates. Standard modes such as Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217, Terminal, PPP and Reverse Telnet cover legacy and modern applications. The metal housing mounts on a desktop or wall, or on a DIN-rail with the optional kit.
