Description

The Moxa NPort 5650I-8-DT-T is a compact desktop 8-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. It features DB9 male connectors, 2 kV serial isolation and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75C, making it suited to industrial automation, utilities and remote monitoring deployments where serial equipment must be networked reliably.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with cascade wiring simplify daisy-chain installations, while dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs provide power redundancy. Socket modes include TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Real COM, and configuration is available via Telnet, web browser or Windows utility. The metal housing supports desktop placement, with DIN-rail and wall mounting available using optional kits.
