Description

The NPort 5650-8-T is an 8-port RS-232/422/485 rackmount serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network over a single 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 port. It is the wide-temperature model of the NPort 5650-8, rated for operation from -40 to 75°C, and uses 8-pin RJ45 serial connectors with a 100-240 VAC power input.

Housed in a metal 1U, 19-inch rackmount chassis with built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation, it suits industrial automation, building management and data centre console deployments. Each port supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Ethernet Modem, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet and RFC2217 modes, and the unit can be configured via the LCD panel, Telnet, a web browser or the Windows utility.
