Description

The Moxa NPort 5650-8-M-SC is an 8-port RS-232/422/485 rackmount serial device server with a multi-mode fibre SC 100BaseFX network connection. It lets you connect serial equipment such as PLCs, meters, barcode readers and legacy instruments to an Ethernet network, with the fibre uplink suited to environments where electrical noise or longer cable runs make copper impractical.

This 19-inch rackmount model accepts 100-240 VAC and supports Real COM, TCP server, TCP client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217 and Ethernet Modem modes. It can be configured by Telnet, web browser or Windows utility, and supports SNMP MIB-II for network management.
