Description

The Moxa NPort 5650-8-HV-T is an 8-port rackmount serial device server that connects RS-232/422/485 serial devices to an Ethernet network. Built for industrial automation and remote equipment access, this high-voltage wide-temperature model accepts 88 to 300 VDC power and operates from -40 to 85°C, making it suited to harsh environments and facilities with DC power distribution.

Each of the eight serial ports uses an 8-pin RJ45 connector with baud rates up to 921.6 kbps, and the unit connects to the network through a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port with built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation. Real COM and TTY drivers cover Windows, Linux, Unix and Android, while operation modes include Real COM, TCP Server/Client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet and Ethernet Modem. The metal 19-inch rackmount housing suits control rooms and equipment cabinets.
