Description

The NPort 5650-16-T is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 rackmount serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet LAN. It provides 16 serial ports on 8-pin RJ45 connectors and a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port, with a 100 to 240 VAC power input. This -T model is rated for a wide -40 to 75°C operating range, making it suited to harsh or unconditioned environments where a standard unit would not be suitable.

Built in a metal 19-inch rack-mount housing with an LCD panel and push buttons for on-device configuration, the NPort 5650-16-T supports Real COM and TTY drivers, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217 and Pair Connection modes. Secure management is available through HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3, with 1.5 kV built-in magnetic isolation protecting the Ethernet port.
