Description

The Moxa NPort 5650-16-HV-T is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 rackmount serial device server that connects serial equipment to a 10/100 Ethernet network. It provides 16 serial ports on 8-pin RJ45 connectors, accepts a high-voltage 88 to 300 VDC power input, and operates across a wide -40 to 85°C temperature range, making it well suited to industrial automation, utilities and harsh-environment racks.

Each port supports baudrates from 50 bps up to 921.6 kbps, with operation modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217 and Pair Connection. It is configured through a web console (HTTP/HTTPS), Telnet console or Windows utility, and supports HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3 for secure management. Driver support covers Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY and macOS fixed TTY, with an Android API available.
