Description

The Moxa NPort 5650-16 is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 rackmount serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. It uses 8-pin RJ45 serial connectors, a 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing Ethernet port and a 100 to 240 VAC power input, making it well suited to server rooms and equipment racks where many serial devices need to be managed over IP.

The NPort 5600 series supports TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Real COM socket modes, so it can integrate serial equipment with both legacy COM-based software and modern networked applications. Configuration is available through Telnet, a web console or a Windows utility, and the standard 19-inch rackmount chassis fits directly into existing racks.
