Description

The Moxa NPort 5630-8 is a 19-inch rackmount serial device server that connects 8 RS-422/485 serial devices to a 10/100M Ethernet network. Eight RJ45 serial ports and a 100-240 VAC power input make it a straightforward way to bring multiple legacy serial devices onto an IP network from a single rack unit.

An LCD panel allows quick IP address setup, and the unit can also be configured through a web console, Telnet or the Windows utility. Socket modes include TCP server, TCP client and UDP, and SNMP MIB-II support allows monitoring within existing network management systems.
