Description

The Moxa NPort 5630-16 is a 16-port RS-422/485 rackmount serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network through 8-pin RJ45 serial ports. It runs from a 100 to 240 VAC power input and supports baudrates up to 921.6 kbps, making it well suited to server rooms, telemetry and industrial automation installations that need to bring many serial devices onto an IP network.

It offers Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Telnet and RFC2217 operation modes, with Real COM/TTY drivers for Windows and Linux. A front-panel LCD and push buttons simplify IP address setup, and configuration is also available through a web console, Telnet or the Windows utility. Security options include HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3, and a standard 19-inch metal housing allows direct rack mounting.

Features

- Standard 19-inch rackmount size
- Easy IP address configuration with LCD panel and push buttons
- Configure by Telnet, web browser (HTTP/HTTPS) or Windows utility
- Socket modes: TCP server, TCP client, UDP
- Real COM/TTY drivers for Windows and Linux, plus fixed TTY for macOS
- SNMP MIB-II for network management
