Description

The Moxa NPort 5610-8-DT-T is an 8-port RS-232 serial device server that connects legacy serial equipment to a 10/100M Ethernet network. It is a compact, metal-housed desktop unit with DB9 male serial connectors and a wide operating range of -40 to 75°C, suited to industrial cabinets, outdoor enclosures and unheated sites. As a -T model it ships without a power adapter, taking 12 to 48 VDC through a terminal block or power jack.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports allow cascade wiring, and the unit supports TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Real COM socket modes. Configuration is available via Telnet, web console (HTTP/HTTPS), serial console or the Windows utility, with SNMP MIB-II support for network management. DIN-rail and wall-mounting kits are available as options.
