Description

The NPort 5610-8-DT-J is a compact desktop 8-port RS-232 serial device server with 8-pin RJ45 serial connectors, designed to connect serial equipment to an Ethernet network. It suits sites where rack or DIN-rail mounting is not available, and accepts 12-48 VDC power with an operating range of 0 to 55°C.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports can be cascaded like switch ports, removing the need for a separate switch in daisy-chain wiring. An LCD panel and push buttons simplify IP address setup, and the unit supports TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP and Real COM operation modes, with web, Telnet, serial console and Windows utility configuration.
