Description

The Moxa NPort 5610-8-DT is an 8-port RS-232 serial device server that connects DB9 male serial devices to a 10/100M Ethernet network. Built for desktop installation in a metal housing, it suits industrial automation, building management and point-of-sale deployments that need to bring legacy serial equipment onto an IP network. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 55 C and accepts a 12 to 48 VDC power input.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports allow cascade wiring, and dual power inputs (terminal block and power jack) provide a redundant supply option. An LCD panel and push buttons make IP address setup quick, while Telnet, web (HTTP/HTTPS) and Windows utility configuration are also supported. Socket modes include TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Real COM, and optional kits allow DIN-rail or wall mounting.
