Description

The Moxa NPort 5610-8 is an 8-port RS-232 rackmount serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. It uses RJ45 8-pin serial connectors, accepts 100-240 VAC input and fits a standard 19-inch rack, making it well suited to server rooms and equipment cabinets that need centralised serial access.

An LCD panel simplifies IP address setup, and the unit can also be configured over Telnet, a web console or the Windows utility. Operating modes include TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Real COM, with SNMP MIB-II support for network management.
