Description

The Moxa NPort 5450I is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects existing serial equipment to a 10/100 Ethernet network. Each DB9 male port is software selectable between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 and carries 2 kV serial isolation, making it well suited to industrial automation, building management and SCADA environments with a 0 to 55°C operating range.

Configuration is straightforward through the front LCD panel with push buttons, the web console (HTTP/HTTPS), Telnet console or the Windows utility. Real COM and Real TTY drivers, TCP server, TCP client, UDP and reverse Telnet modes let legacy serial devices integrate with modern networks, while dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs support redundant supply. Security is covered by HTTPS (TLS 1.2), SNMPv3 and AES-128 encryption.
