Description

The NPort 5450 is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial equipment to a 10/100 Ethernet network. Each port uses a DB9 male connector with no isolation, and the unit runs from 12 to 48 VDC over an operating range of 0 to 55 C. A built-in LCD panel makes on-site installation and IP setup quick for network and systems teams.

Part of the NPort 5400 Series, it supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Telnet and Pair Connection modes, with Real TTY and fixed TTY drivers for Linux, Unix and Mac OS X. Dual DC power inputs (terminal block and power jack) and a metal housing suit control cabinets, building systems and industrial serial-to-Ethernet deployments.
