Description

The Moxa NPort 5430I is a 4-port RS-422/485 serial device server with 2 kV serial isolation, connecting serial devices to a TCP/IP network through a single 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port. Each serial port operates independently, so different devices can be used for remote data polling or event handling. Serial connections use terminal blocks, and the unit runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply with dual power inputs.

Support for Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection and Reverse Telnet modes makes it straightforward to integrate legacy serial equipment into modern networks. Configuration is available through the front LCD panel, Telnet, web console (HTTP/HTTPS) or Windows utility, and security options include HTTPS, SNMPv3 and AES-128 encryption. The metal housing suits desktop, wall or DIN-rail installation (with optional kit).
