Description

The NPort 5250AI-M12-CT-T is a railway-grade 2-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. It has M12 connectors, an IP40 metal housing and a 12 to 48 VDC power input, with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C and PCB conformal coating for harsh onboard and trackside environments.

The NPort 5250AI-M12-CT-T complies with EN 50121-4 and all mandatory EN 50155 test items, and provides 2 kV isolation on the serial signals. Real COM and Real TTY drivers for Windows and Linux, plus standard TCP and UDP operation modes, allow existing serial applications to run over Ethernet. Web-based configuration, SNMP monitoring with trap and email alerts, and a built-in watchdog timer simplify deployment and management.
