Description

The Moxa NPort 5250A is a compact 2-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 60°C, making it suited to indoor industrial, building automation and lab deployments. Each DB9 male serial port supports baudrates up to 921.6 kbps, and the unit is housed in a rugged metal case.

Operation modes include Real COM, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217, TCP Client, TCP Server, UDP, Pair Connection and Ethernet Modem, with Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS, including Arm-based platforms. Dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a built-in watchdog timer and 1.5 kV magnetic isolation support reliable, continuous operation. It can be mounted on a desktop, on a wall, or on a DIN rail with an optional kit.
