Description

The Moxa NPort 5230A-T is a rugged 2-port RS-422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet LAN. Serial connections use 5-pin terminal blocks, and the wide -40 to 75°C operating temperature range suits harsh industrial environments such as factory floors, outdoor cabinets and field installations.

With one 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port, serial speeds up to 921.6 kbps and 1.5 kV built-in magnetic isolation, it provides reliable network access to legacy serial equipment. Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217, Pair Connection and Ethernet Modem operation modes, plus dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, allow flexible and resilient deployment in existing control and monitoring systems.
