Description

The Moxa NPort 5230A is a 2-port RS-422/485 serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network, giving PCs and hosts direct access to serial devices over TCP/IP. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 60°C and is housed in a compact metal enclosure, suited to controlled indoor industrial and commercial automation environments.

Each port supports baudrates up to 921.6 kbps and a range of operation modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection, RFC2217 and Reverse Telnet. Real COM and TTY drivers are available for Windows, Linux and macOS, and dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs allow redundant or flexible power connection.
