Description

The Moxa NPort 5230-T is a 2-port serial device server that connects one RS-232 port and one RS-422/485 port to a 10/100 Ethernet network. It is the -40 to 75°C wide-temperature model with terminal block serial connectors and a 12 to 48 VDC power input, making it suited to industrial cabinets, outdoor enclosures and other harsh environments where serial equipment needs to be network-ready.

Supported operation modes include Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection and Reverse Telnet, with Windows Real COM and Linux Real TTY drivers available. Configuration is via a Windows utility, serial console, Telnet console or web console, and automatic data direction control simplifies RS-485 deployments. The metal housing supports desktop, wall and optional DIN-rail mounting.
