Description

The NPort 5210-T is a 2-port RS-232 serial device server that connects two serial devices to a 10/100M Ethernet network. Built for industrial environments, this wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C in a compact metal housing with a built-in watchdog timer, making it suited to automation, utilities and remote monitoring deployments.

Each serial port uses an 8-pin RJ45 connector and supports baudrates up to 230.4 kbps with RTS/CTS, DTR/DSR and XON/XOFF flow control. Operation modes include Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet and Ethernet Modem, with Real COM and Real TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS. Configuration is available through a Windows utility, web console, telnet or serial console, and the unit accepts 12 to 48 VDC input.
