Description

The NPort 5150AI-M12-T is a rugged 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects a serial device to an Ethernet network. Built for rolling stock and wayside rail applications, it uses an M12 D-coded 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and an M12 A-coded power input for shock and vibration resistance, and the -T model operates across a -40 to 75°C wide temperature range.

The unit accepts 12 to 48 VDC input and is compliant with EN 50121-4, with EN 50155 compliance on 24/48 VDC. Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows and Linux, COM port grouping and UDP multicast support, SNMPv3 and HTTPS (TLS 1.2) security, and a built-in watchdog timer, buzzer and RTC suit it to demanding transport and industrial deployments.
