Description

The NPort 5150AI-M12-CT-T is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server built for rolling stock and wayside rail applications. It connects a serial device to an Ethernet network through a rugged M12 D-coded Ethernet connector and an M12 A-coded power input accepting 12 to 48 VDC. This -CT-T model has PCB conformal coating and a -40 to 75°C operating range for harsh environments.

The DB9 serial port supports baud rates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps with 2 kV isolation protection. Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY and Android API drivers are supported, and HTTPS and SNMPv3 provide secure management. The unit complies with EN 50121-4 and the essential sections of EN 50155 on 24/48 VDC.
