Description

The Moxa NPort 5150AI-M12 is a railway-grade 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects a serial device to an Ethernet network. It uses M12 connectors for both the 10/100 Ethernet port and the 12 to 48 VDC power input, and is rated for operation from -25 to 55°C, making it suited to rolling stock and other vibration-prone installations.

The DB9 serial port offers 2 kV isolation and supports RS-485 automatic data direction control. Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS, a standard TCP/IP interface and speedy 3-step web-based configuration make it simple to bring legacy serial equipment onto an IP network. This variant has a single serial port and no PCB conformal coating.
