Description

The NPort 5150A-T is a wide-temperature serial device server that connects one RS-232/422/485 serial device to an Ethernet network. Rated for -40 to 75°C operation and built in a compact metal housing, it suits industrial deployments where serial equipment such as card readers, payment terminals and controllers needs to be made network-ready.

It offers a software-selectable RS-232/422/485 interface on a single DB9 male port, a 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet port, and operation modes including Real COM, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP and Pair Connection. Real COM and TTY drivers cover Windows, Linux and macOS, with an Android API available, and HTTPS (TLS 1.2) with AES-128 encryption supports secure management. It can be installed on a desktop, wall or DIN-rail (optional kit).
