Description

The Moxa NPort 5130 is a compact 1-port RS-422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices such as card readers and payment terminals to an IP-based Ethernet LAN. This version has a DB9 male serial connector, a 12 to 48 VDC power input and an operating temperature range of 0 to 55 C, in a durable metal housing.

It includes Real COM drivers for Windows, Real TTY drivers for Linux and fixed TTY drivers for macOS and other UNIX systems, plus TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet and Ethernet Modem operation modes. Configuration is available through a Windows utility, Telnet console or web console, and the unit supports desktop, wall or DIN-rail mounting with the optional kit.
