Description

The NPort 5110A-T is a compact 1-port RS-232 serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet LAN. It pairs a DB9 male serial port with a 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 port, and the wide-temperature -T version operates from -40 to 75°C, making it suited to industrial automation, remote monitoring and other harsh-environment serial-to-Ethernet deployments.

Operation modes include Real COM, Real TTY, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet and RFC2217, with drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS and an Android API. Built-in surge protection, 1.5 kV magnetic isolation, a watchdog timer and HTTPS configuration with TLS 1.2 help keep legacy serial devices reliably and securely networked, all in a compact metal housing.
