Description

The Moxa NPort 5110 is a compact 1-port RS-232 serial device server that connects serial devices such as card readers and payment terminals to an IP-based Ethernet LAN. It provides a DB9 male serial port and a 10/100M RJ45 Ethernet port, with a standard 0 to 55°C operating temperature range suited to office, retail and light commercial deployments.

Support for Real COM and TTY drivers lets existing serial software communicate over the network without modification, while TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection and Reverse Telnet modes cover a wide range of applications. The metal housing mounts on a desktop or wall, or on a DIN rail with the optional kit, and configuration is available through a Windows utility, web console or Telnet.
