Description

The Moxa NM-FX02-M-SC is a fibre expansion module that adds two 100BaseFX multi-mode Ethernet ports with SC connectors to compatible Moxa NPort 6450 and 6650 terminal servers. It suits industrial and EMI-prone sites where copper runs are impractical, delivering multi-mode fibre links of up to 4 km over OM1 50/125 µm cable. This standard temperature model needs no SFPs, keeping fibre connectivity simple and robust.

The module plugs directly into supported NPort 6000 series units, including the NPort 6610, extending the host device with fibre uplinks while keeping the existing serial-to-Ethernet configuration. A wide-temperature variant is available separately as NM-FX02-M-SC-T for harsher environments.
