Description

The NE-4120A-T is a compact NE-4100 series serial embedded device server module that connects an RS-422/485 serial device to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network through a 5-pin Ethernet pin header. This wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C, making it suited to OEM integration in industrial equipment, automation and remote monitoring applications.

Measuring just 57 x 40 mm and drawing 290 mA from a single 5 VDC input, the module supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client and UDP operation modes with baudrates up to 230.4 kbps. A Real COM driver is included for backward compatibility with legacy serial software, and network management options include DHCP, BootP, static IP, SNMP and email alerts.
