Description

The NE-4110S is an embedded RS-232 serial device server module that connects serial devices to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network through an 8-pin RJ45 port. Part of the NE-4100 Series, it is about half the size of a credit card and ships as a ready-to-go pin header module, making it well suited to OEMs and integrators adding network connectivity to serial-based equipment.

The module supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client and UDP operation modes, with Windows Real COM and Linux Real TTY drivers available. Configuration is flexible, via web console, Windows utility, Telnet or serial console, and SNMP and email alerts help with remote monitoring of deployed devices.
