Description

The Moxa NE-4110A is an embedded device server module that adds serial-to-Ethernet connectivity to RS-422/485 equipment. Supplied as a ready-to-go pin header module, it provides a single RS-422/485 serial port and a 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet port, making it straightforward for OEMs and system integrators to network-enable serial devices. This standard temperature model is rated for 0 to 55°C operation.

The module supports Real COM, TCP Client, TCP Server and UDP operation modes, with Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY, fixed TTY and Android API driver support. Configuration is available through a web console, Windows utility, Telnet or serial console. Four software-configurable DIO channels and built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation on the Ethernet port suit compact, power-efficient embedded designs.
