Description

The NE-4100T is an embedded TTL serial device server module from the NE-4100 series, designed to add 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity to TTL-level serial devices. It uses a 26-pin dual-in-line drop-in form factor, measuring just 45 x 36 mm, and runs from a single 5 VDC supply, making it well suited to OEM and embedded designs that need to network-enable existing serial hardware. It is rated for 0 to 55°C operation.

The module supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client and UDP operation modes with baudrates from 110 bps to 230.4 kbps. A 16-bit MCU with 2 MB flash and 1 MB SDRAM drives a full management stack including web console, Telnet, serial console, SNMP and DHCP, and four software-configurable DIO channels are available for simple I/O. Real COM drivers and Linux real TTY drivers keep legacy software working over the network.
