Description

The MiiNePort E1-ST is a starter kit for the MiiNePort E1 Series embedded serial device server, supplied with the module and an evaluation board. It lets developers prototype adding 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity to a TTL serial device before committing to a production design. The evaluation board measures 140 x 100 mm and breaks out the module's 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 port and TTL serial port for bench testing.

The module is built on a 32-bit Arm core with 2 MB flash and 4 MB SDRAM, and supports Real COM, RFC2217, TCP Client, TCP Server and UDP operation modes. Moxa's NetEZ functions (ExTrigger, Serial Command Mode, AutoCFG and Multi-Channel Serial Communication) simplify integration, and configuration is available through a web console, Windows utility, Telnet or serial console.
