Description

The Moxa CP-138U-I-T is an 8-port RS-422/485 Universal PCI serial board with 2 kV optical isolation, built for POS, ATM and industrial multi-drop applications. This wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 85°C and fits both 3.3 V and 5 V PCI and PCI-X slots, making it suited to harsh environments where standard serial cards fall short.

Each port supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, backed by a 128-byte FIFO and on-chip hardware and software flow control for dependable data throughput. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux and several UNIX variants including QNX 6, SCO OpenServer, UnixWare 7, Solaris 10 and FreeBSD, and up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC.
