Description

The Moxa CP-134EL-A-I-DB9M is a 4-port RS-422/485 low-profile PCI Express serial board for industrial PCs, built for reliable multiport serial connectivity in automation, data acquisition and device networking. It includes 2 kV electrical isolation and 4 kV surge protection, and ships with a DB9 male cable for direct connection to field devices. It is rated for 0 to 55°C operation.

The board uses a PCI Express 1.0 x1 interface with 16C550C compatible UARTs and a 128-byte FIFO, supporting baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps including non-standard rates. Up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC, and drivers are available for Windows, Linux and UNIX. Built-in LEDs and management software simplify installation and troubleshooting.
