Description

The Moxa CP-114UL-I is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 universal PCI serial board in a low-profile form factor, with 2 kV optical isolation on every port. Designed for industrial automation and PC-based data acquisition, it protects host systems from ground loops and surges on long-distance serial links. This variant uses a DB44 female connector, operates from 0 to 55°C and ships without a cable.

The board uses a 32-bit Universal PCI interface compatible with 3.3/5 V PCI and PCI-X slots, and supports baud rates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. Up to eight boards can be installed in a single PC, and drivers are available for Windows, Linux and other operating systems. Built-in Tx/Rx LEDs on each port simplify commissioning and troubleshooting.
