Description

The Moxa CN2650I-16 is a dual-LAN terminal server with 16 RS-232/422/485 serial ports on DB9 male connectors, built for connecting serial devices to Ethernet networks in industrial and enterprise environments. Each serial port has 2 kV optical isolation, so a surge on one port does not affect the others, and the unit runs from a single 100 to 240 VAC power input across a 0 to 55°C operating range.

Two independent 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports provide separate MAC and IP addresses, with a Redundant COM mode available when both LANs are active. Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS allow existing serial-based applications to communicate over the network without software changes, and an LCD panel simplifies initial IP address configuration on standard-temperature models.
