Description

The Moxa CN2610-8 is a dual-LAN terminal server with 8 RS-232 serial ports on RJ45 connectors, designed to connect industrial serial devices to Ethernet networks. Two independent 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports support Redundant COM and dual-host redundancy, keeping serial data flowing if a network path or host fails. This model uses a single 100 to 240 VAC power input and operates from 0 to 55°C.

The CN2610-8 supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217, Terminal, Reverse Telnet, PPP and DRDAS operation modes, with Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS. Security features include SNMPv3, SSHv2, HTTPS, RADIUS authentication and AES-128/256 encryption, with a dedicated RS-232 console port for local management.
