Description

The Moxa CN2510-8-48V is an 8-port RS-232 terminal server for rack-mounted serial device connectivity, powered from a +/-48 VDC telecom-style input. It connects eight serial devices to an Ethernet network through eight RJ45 serial ports and a single 10/100BaseT(X) LAN port, making it well suited to telecom rooms and DC-powered equipment racks.

The CN2510 series supports terminal mode operation and can also act as a standalone remote access server with PPP/SLIP, RADIUS authentication and RIP routing. Real COM/TTY drivers for Windows and Linux, an LCD control panel and a 19-inch metal housing make installation and ongoing management straightforward.
