Description

The Moxa CN2510-16 is a 1U rackmount 16-port RS-232 terminal server with a 100-240 VAC power input, built for console management of serial devices such as routers, switches and UNIX servers over Ethernet. It provides 16 RS-232 ports on 8-pin RJ45 connectors and a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet uplink, with terminal mode operation for Telnet-based access.

Authentication can be handled against an internal database or a RADIUS server, and dial-back support secures out-of-band dial-up management. Real COM, Real TTY and Fixed TTY drivers cover Windows, Linux and Unix hosts, while the front LCD control panel simplifies on-site configuration in the equipment rack.
