Description

The Moxa CB-108-T is an 8-port RS-232 multiport serial board for PC/104-Plus CPU boards, communicating over the PC/104-Plus (PCI) bus. As the wide-temperature model, it is rated for -40 to 85°C operation, making it suited to industrial automation, transport and field-deployed embedded systems where standard-temperature serial boards are not viable.

Built around four 16C550C-compatible communication controllers with 128-byte FIFOs, the board supports baudrates from 50 bps up to 921.6 kbps and on-chip hardware and software flow control. Onboard Tx and Rx LEDs for each port simplify commissioning and troubleshooting, and up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC. Windows, Windows CE 5.0/6.0 and Windows XP Embedded are supported, with optional DB9 and DB25 connection cables available.
