Description

The CA-104 is a 4-port RS-232 PC/104 multiport serial board for embedded and industrial PC/104 CPU boards. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 55°C and supports baudrates up to 921.6 kbps, with 16C550C compatible UARTs and a 64-byte FIFO on each port for dependable serial communication.

IRQ and I/O settings are selected by jumper and DIP switch, and up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC. Each port has onboard Tx and Rx LEDs for simple troubleshooting, and driver support covers DOS, Windows, Windows Embedded, Linux, FreeBSD and QNX. Optional DB9 and DB25 cables connect the board to serial devices.
