Description

The Moxa RM-G4000-8SFP is an industrial Fast Ethernet switch module with eight 100BaseSFP slots, built for expanding Moxa RKS-G4028 Series modular rackmount Ethernet switches. It lets you add fibre uplink or distribution capacity using 100BaseFX SFP transceivers, making it well suited to substations, utility networks and other demanding industrial sites.

Part of the RM-G4000 module series, it supports an extended -40 to 75C operating temperature range and is compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613. The SFP slots accept both multi-mode and single-mode 100BaseFX modules, so reach can be matched to each link.
