Description

The Moxa RM-G4000-8GSFP is a Gigabit Ethernet switch interface module that adds 8 x 100/1000BaseSFP fibre slots to RKS-G4028 Series rackmount Ethernet switches. It suits substation, utility and transport deployments that need flexible fibre uplinks and downlinks on a modular industrial switch, with 100Base and 1000Base SFP modules selected to match each link.

Part of the RM-G4000 module family, it is rated for -40 to 75°C operation and complies with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 for power substation environments. SFP transceivers are sold separately, including wide-temperature -T types, so reach and media can be matched to each site.
