The UniFi ECS Hot-Swap Fan Module with front-to-back airflow is a replacement fan for selected UniFi ECS rack-mount switches. It can be swapped while the switch is running, so cooling can be restored without a shutdown or network outage. This front-to-back airflow variant suits standard rack cooling layouts.

The fan module runs at 18,000 RPM with a maximum power draw of 10.8 W. It is compatible with the ECS-Aggregation, ECS-48-PoE, ECS-48S-PoE, ECS-24-PoE and ECS-24S-PoE switches, making it a practical spare to keep on hand for UniFi campus switching deployments.
