Description

The SN3600B 16Gb 8-port Fibre Channel upgrade licence kit unlocks 8 additional ports on an HPE SN3600B 32Gb Fibre Channel switch through Ports on Demand. It includes the port licence and 8 x 16Gb Short Wave SFP+ transceivers under a single part number, so the added ports are ready to connect once the licence is applied.

SN3600B ports operate at 4/8/16/32 Gbps Fibre Channel speeds, and the supplied 16Gb Short Wave optics let you scale SAN connectivity in 8-port increments as storage and server demand grows. It suits data centre teams extending an existing HPE SN3600B fabric without replacing the switch.
